Telos4Africa Community

The dynamics of work and life are changing gradually and everything is migrating online to ensure continuity. The Telos4Africa community has however always been compliant and online. For us, everything has remained business as usual. Members are obeying the lockdown rules and our social media communities are active with daily tasks, games, chats and general activities via which our people earn TLOS tokens for participation. Please check out our daily activity schedules and note the days and exercises that interest you;

Daily/Weekly Activity Schedule

  • Monday – Jokes and memes (WhatsApp/ telegram) 
  • Tuesday – Let’s talk music and movies (WhatsApp) 
  • Wednesday – Talk about blockchain (Telegram) 
  • Thursday – Sports/ Promote your business (WhatsApp) 
  • Friday – Telos4africa night (Everything telos and more, Whatsapp) 
  • Sunday- Share your ideas (Whatsapp) 
  • Weekly Contest/Challenge – Begins on Tuesdays & submission closes by 12 noon on Fridays
  • Discord Hangout: Holds every third Wednesday of the month, 7:30pm GMT+1 (any change in the plan will be communicated beforehand)
  • Bi-weekly Trivia: Holds on Mondays (flexi-time).

The Weekly Activities

Our daily activities from April 6th to 12th, 2020 comprised of daily community engagement. There was also a Fun hour in which the community played a fast paced game called “find the words”. The list of words below was dropped and participants were required to list out 3 each beginning with the letter “W” only: 1. We all drink, 2. A colour, 3. A dry fruit, 4. A direction, 5. Marriage, 6. Vehicles have, 7. Seven days, 8. Buildings have, 9. Purse, 10. Fight, 11. March 8, 12. Aquatic mammal, 13. Salary, 14. Exercise, 15. Health is, 16. Opposite of length, 17. An app, 18. A week day, 19. Where goods are stored, 20. Place for storing clothes, 21. A term used in cricket, 22. A wild animal, 23. Selling goods in large quantities, 24. 2/3 of earth is, 25. Earth, 26. Spider’s house, 27. A fruit, 28. A body part, 29. Clock, 30. Guard

Answers included; 12. Whale, 16. Width, 15 wealth, 17. Whatsapp, 23. Wholesale, 24. Water, 21. Wicket, 23. Wholesale and so on and participants earned TLOS tokens for all correct answers. 

The Weekly Contests

This week’s challenge was to create Telos fan art and post them across the social channels. The best 3 were rewarded with 100 Tlos each. Please check out the entries below;

Music on the blockchain

The Telos4Africa Team Lead, Destiny Marshall, released a music track titled “Stay safe from #Covid-19” which he dedicated to the @Telos4africa community, the world and everyone who had lost a loved one, a job or their peace of mind to the pandemic. The full video can be found here:

What’s on next week’s roster?

The lockdown situation hasn’t eased up yet and it is important we all stay indoors to ensure we play no part in the spread of the virus. This is the perfect time to invite your friends to join the T4A family. Our social channels below are open to all who are interested in finding opportunities on the Blockchain;
